Hello MovieBloc community,

MovieBloc signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with DMZ International Documentary Film Festival

DMZ International Documentary Film Festival (also known as DMZ Docs), is a South Korean film festival for documentary films jointly presented by Gyeonggi Province, Paju and Goyang. Launched in 2009, it is held annually for seven days in September/October less than twenty kilometers from the Korean Demilitarized Zone, and showcases films dealing with “peace, coexistence and reconciliation.”

Through the partnership with DMZ International Documentary Film Festival, MovieBloc awards one Korean project and one Asian project and supports them with online streaming, global production, and marketing. Also, award-winning films will be added to MovieBloc platform. Furthermore, directors at DMZ International Documentary Film Festival will be able to utilize MovieBloc’s advanced user data to become the core of internationally competitive video content productions and obtain technical insights on the development of the film industry.

After signing an MOU, on September 26th, MovieBloc selected a Korean project <Sasang> and an Asian project <Born to be Second> for ‘MovieBloc award’. Congratulations!
