MovieBloc and Picord Film will cooperate to popularize low budget, usually independent-made non-commercial films by delivering unique contents.
MovieBloc signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Picord Film.
Picord film is a distributor trying to elicit great value of short films by showcasing quality noncommercial films. At first, Picord became famous for distributing films on its YouTube channel, and is now expanding its business through several partnerships and collaboration works. Recently, it opened a Space called 캐스트위례, a cinematic space located in Wirye, Hanam-si, Gyeonggi-do this year. It is a combination of cinema and cafe, and is planning to hold exhibitions, screening events, community gatherings, etc. regularly.
Through this partnership, MovieBloc and Picord Film will cooperate to discover quality noncommercial films, co-produce fun contents like actor/ actress interviews and behind stories of the films, and co-hold offline events such as exhibition, screening events.
MovieBloc team is preparing for a variety of partners who can support and work together for our project at service launch. At the same time, our team is also working on our official service to be launched. So please stay tuned for our updates!
