I love a well-written character. I especially love a well-written female character.
Women in film aren’t just to be relegated to the love interest or the woman pining over the protagonist or the eye candy or the… you get the point. Female characters can play any role in a film; they can be flawed, three-dimensional, confusing, infuriating, inspiring, and so much more.
So, I want to take a moment to highlight films with some of these bad*** women. Some of them have superpowers or are action heroes. Others show off their bad***ery in other ways. But they are all interesting to watch, and each of these movies gives you something to think about.
