The work of Valeria Bruni Tedeschi (2/3)

A middle-aged theater actress who is looking for ‘pure’ love is haunted by the shadows of men in her past (her father, a lover) and the roles she’s playing on stage.
Just like the lead personage, most characters are exasperated and desperate, stuck in meanders of relationships that lead nowhere, but the ambitious script runs out of steam and ends in chaos.
However, Valeria Bruni Tedeschi’s acting is, as usual, warm, vulnerable, and unpredictable, just like her movies.
