Disney Halloween movies that are so NOT scary, kids can watch them. Grab your popcorn & kick up your knit socks, our Not-So-Scary Disney Halloween list is next!

Disney’s 1995 Casper is more than a classic, it’s an all-time favorite. Casper and Kat’s friendship is unbreakable, even though Fatso, Stinkie and Stretch try to pry it apart. Plus, who doesn’t want a flying best friend? #BFFGoals

Disney’s 2016 Ghostbusters remake gives that feminist kick to Halloween. With the hilarious Melissa McCarthy on your screen, I’m sure you’ll crack a few smiles. We’d love to hear if you prefer the original or remake Ghostbusters.

Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas is a must-watch on our marathon list. We can’t pass up watching Jack and Sally stumble and ‘unstring’ without each other this Halloween. Can you?

Hocus Pocus (1993), the 24-year old classic, still is one of the best not-so-scary Halloween movies. We can hardly wait for the Sanderson Sisters to come back and cast their spell on little Emily. At this point, we encourage her to venture into the woods. Let’s just say, we’ll be watching Thackery Binx (Jason Marsden) turn human more than once this season.

The Haunted Mansion (2003), starring Eddie Murphy, adds a twist to the original haunted house tale. Disney’s version brings a comic relief to those of us not enthused about the classic “haunted house events”. 🕸
