Want to reach a wider audience with your work?

We’re excited to announce the launch of a new film publication here on Medium: Moving Pictures. It’s a digital magazine for writers, producers, directors, editors, actors, and movie buffs. If you’re a great writer and want your articles to reach a wider audience (and potentially earn you some income through the Medium Partner Program), Moving Pictures might be a good home for you.

Here at Moving Pictures, we want to publish as many high-quality, thought-provoking, hope-inspiring evergreen articles as possible — stories that will matter today, next year, and for decades to come. Accordingly, we have a few well-trimmed editorial standards for the submissions we accept, and will only consider those that fit the criteria below.

1. Tell a story

Each submission should include a story to draw the readers into your article. At present we’re looking to publish stories between 300–3,000 words. The types and format of stories we publish include:
