MozFest day two is go!
Can you hear that? That’s the gently rolling hubbub of the open web movement getting together for another day of making, sharing and doing at MozFest!
A hardy band have already been for the MozRun through the mists of the Greenwich Peninsula, others were content to enjoy a leisurely breakfast, but the main business is about to get underway.
Sessions begin at 11am, so here’s a quick reminder of what’s happening. We have the second day of the first ever MozFest Speaker Series taking place on the ground floor where bright, passionate people will be exploring the biggest issues facing the web. If you’re looking for more practical things to do, we have lots of other spaces for you.
Digital Arts & Culture are on the 1st floor and 1st floor mezzanine. While you’re there, why not add to the giant MozFest doodle? Youth Zone is on the second floor and there’s a quiet space for reflection on the third floor, along with a big chunk of the amazing MozEx installation, curated by Tate and the V&A. 4th floor is the Fuel the Movement space, and a great place to renew old acquaintances and create new ones.
The 5th floor is the place for the #MozHelp desk, and also some excellent barista coffee (get it while it’s hot!). The 6th floor is Localisation + Dilemmas in Connected Spaces — if you’re interested in the Internet of Things, that’s the place to go. On the 7th floor is Demystify the Web, along with some more of the excellent MozEx. If Open Badges or Journalism are your thing, head to the 8th floor. The 9th floor has a prototype lab, a quiet zone for parents and children, and is also the place to go for many things Open Science.
Remember, share your thoughts and experiences on Twitter using #MozFest and if you need any help — any help at all, tweet #MozHelp and our most excellent volunteers will be happy to assist.
Have a great day!
