Benjamin Roome and friends are running a session to help companies learn how to build a hiring process around open badges. The session takes place on Saturday 2pm on the 8th floor (keep an eye out for the sign!)

The session is designed to create professional badge networks that describe the skills and competencies that people need to succeed in roles that companies are hiring for. A good example is the badge for social media marketing skills. A student called Clarissa at the University of Southampton has recently earned the Twitter Expert Badge. She can now display this so that employers interested in hiring Clarissa can see the evidence to show her expertise.

The session is going to bring people together to build the professional badge network on the software they have built, called Badge List.

For those unable to make the session, you can follow @benjaroome and @badgelist on Twitter.
