After a good night of recuperation and being able to collect my thoughts, I have come to the conclusion that #Mozfest 2016 is one of the best events/exhibitions i’ve attended.

this post, is a story of the weekend, but also a massive thank-you to the wranglers, the Mozfest team and to anyone who visited floor 8…As we would say — you are all ‘Awesome’!

The creativity, positivity, discussions and keynotes of this mozfest event were not just thought provoking but delivered to an audience who were wanting to be engaged with.

I arrived Saturday morning to a hive of activity on floor 8 — the #openbadges floor.

floor 8 the #openbadges floor

the floor was dedicated to making it count by #getbadged celebrating everyones individuality. the ‘wall of awesomeness’ was well received and within a few hours the wall was taking shape. The point of the wall was for an individual to tell tell someone that they thought they were talented, amazing, inspiring, unique, or awesome.

Of course, this wasn’t the only only thing on the floor. There were multiple sessions, disscusions and fireside chats, which @https://medium.com/digitalme-an-open-badge-adventure will be bringing you more in-depth details of over the next couple of weeks.

from the #openbadge standard being moved and built upon by IMS, LNRG with Mozilla and Digitalme. To how to create quality assurance in an open badges, The Think-athon, How to build a hiring process etc…

What did I take away from the event? Inspiration is the key to innovation and this event has definitely inspired me!

(For those of you who don’t know me, i work with @digtialme_ a part of the City & Guilds group, who specialise in openbadges through enabling being able to make invisible skills visible).
