Web development is the topic of the third video in our series about the Rust programming language. As a safe systems language, Rust presents a great opportunity for web developers and users of high-level languages like JavaScript, Python, or Ruby. Rust’s safety means that even if you’re a beginner, you can be confident that once your code compiles, it’s free from the most dangerous and hard-to-diagnose bugs of traditional systems programming. It’s easy to dip a toe into Rust and make something great — unlike C++, where you could spend years learning everything before you might feel confident enough to ship something. Rust represents an opportunity to make systems programming, and the “superpowers” that come with it, more accessible for all developers.
