First ever Computer Vision Boot camp by MDevelopers
@MPercept Technology has encouraged its employees to grow and explore to reach their higher potentials through the Developers committee “MDevelopers” giving every resources and MPercept Academy supports them to reach the people who are interested in AI fields. They have started launching boot camps and workshops with the support and encouragement MPercept Technology and Academy as this is the platform for them to grow and share their knowledge and skills.
After the successful previous bootcamp “Intensive Bootcamp on IoT”-”Building Automation System from Scratch”which was held on 3rd and 4th August, 2019 with high positive feedback, recently MDevelopers has organized another intensive bootcamp on Computer Vision Specialization last Saturday and Sunday on 21st and 22nd September, 2019 in MPercept Academy Hall.
This bootcamp on Computer Vision Specialization was aimed for any student or professional with technological background who needs a kickstart in the field of Computer Vision in AI field for a hands-on experience on Computer vision projects.The event was for 14 hours where 16 students were chosen along with a free ticket to the MPercept Quiz Marathon winner. By this 14 hours workshop the students were guided from the very basics of Machine Learning up to Computer Vision and how it could be used in modern life. Every attendees were provided certificate of Participation from the co-host @MPercept Academy, and it was announced that the best students would be given the opportunity to face an interview for an internship at @MPercept Technology.
The major attractions for the event were 3+ Real Computer Vision Projects where students were taught OpenCV, Image Processing, Artificial Neural Network (ANN), Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) to learn best practices for Computer Vision. The attendees learnt Building AI Systems from Scratch as they were taught from the very basics of Machine Learning to intermediate Computer Vision in order to know how AI Systems worked in Production Environment and Clouds.They were guided to make web- based Computer Vision System for image processing. MDevelopers demonstrated their projects in Computer Vision.
The reason behind the successful event can be said that the bootcamp was for Kickstart for interested candidates in the computer vision of AI which help the attendees to have intense knowledge and guidance in this field. They were provided an industry level knowledge and importance of Computer Vision in the present context where they learnt about Computer Vision system from development to deployment. Each of the attendees were mentored by the MDevelopers as there were mentors assigned to each seat also provided with hands-out. With the enthusiastic attendees and the great mentors the event went longer than the actual mentioned time. And the participants suggested to launch such events and to extend for more than 2 days in lots of new and trendy topics of Technological field. As there were positive feedback from participants, MDevelopers has promised to launch such boot camps and workshops very soon.
