Coates- Opening world

A time that I opened my eyes to a new world was when my grandmother passed away. before she passed away I was a Angered, spoiled and selfish kid. I got and did whatever I wanted. she always wanted me to be happy. She always thought I was a good kid, but she didn’t see what my dad saw in me. when she was put in the hospital in LA i skipped out to see her because i wanted to spend time with my friends. she died 2 weeks later and i regret not going still to this day. it opened my eyes because it made me realize how life is short and tomorrow is never promised. i grew from this situation because it reminds me day and out that time is precious with family; things i do always has a consequence.
