Recently the car company many know as Nissan has recalled around 4–5 million cars recently due to airbag sensors in the cars not working correctly as they should. The problem can be seen from models ranging from the past four years from the years of 2012 to the present 2016. Not all cars have the problem, but dealerships are offering a check to see if the specific car you come to have checked has the problem and will notify you if your car needs to fixed. The main use of the sensor is that it indicates when a crash occurs to deploy the airbag safely, but with a problem with the airbag sensor, it causes the car to send the airbags during a time when not needed or they don’t deploy during a crash. This in return can cause major injury to people who drive the affected models and needs to be fixed in order to have a safe car. If you have a Nissan from the affected years, your local dealership should offer a free fix and checkup to the problem.
