Pacifica Crews to Repair Sea Wall After Winter Storms

Pacifica crews are poised on Monday to fix a damaged sea wall along Beach Boulevard, which collapsed following El Niño storms in January. Then, on Tuesday, the city will demolish the apartments at 320 Esplanade. The vacated apartments are at risk of crumbling over the cliff. Following a winter worth of rains, Pacifica crew members are suppose to on fix the damages that were caused at sea wall along Beach Boulevard, which collapsed cause by the storm El nino . The city says that the demolition will cost $200,000 Pacifica hopes to get reimbursed, The city declares a state of emergency for other storm-related repairs that they say will cost about $350,000. Pacifica leaders says theirs no time to waste.Stephanie Chuang Reporter from NBC Bay Area says its not safe now ,because if a stronger storms comes or a big earth quake hits it could destroys and damage everything because the waves are very powerful .
