#Mamming is a wonderful campaign to help spread awareness for breast cancer. It’s always the best to be able to identify early, you would have a enormous chance of beating it. It may be a little bit uncomfortable, but it’s better to be safe than sorry.

This campaign wants you to be aware, and for you to get your mammograms! They want you to embrace it not avoid it, get checked every year, it’s very important.

Their way of informing others is through social media with the hashtag #mamming with a picture of people having a mammogram, it’s a way for people to encourage others to get a mammogram, and know it’s okay and it shouldn’t be uncomfortable. You can participate too!

It’s worthy of a Shorty Award because it informs others in a positive way and to try to help others. They use the resources of technology and social media to help get more people get involved and have fun but talk about a serious topic. It would inspire more people to do this if they see more people having this done for themselves. They want to remind people to get their mammograms yearly so they can make sure if they have breast cancer it could be detected early, so they could beat it.

This campaign gives engagement to people which would inspire people to help themselves and educate others about #mamming.
