The Role of the Free Press

Some ways that the media or free press can protect the rights the of the public are by informing us with the current actions that the government does and let’s us take action on what to do of an issue. The press reporting news to us is reffered to as a “loop” because issues happen, the news reports to us and then the public takes action if they want to on that issue. The current administration is not being covered with all honesty. Some media or press inform us with biased and false reports about the current administration, leading to more issues. An example of ethical news coverage is the press covering news about Trump and his actions.
