The great artist rapper Tupac mother dies , Afeni shakur Davis dies in Sausalito at age 69. Monday night police athories were called from her home by a friend. Parametic arrived and admittedly provided CPR. She was taken to Marin Hospital emergency room and arrived at 10:16 she was instally treated by the hospital for a hour and they determine she had died. New’s in her death family friends and neighbors where sad and said to the Kron 4 Bay area news that she was a good neighbor , Shakur changed her name as an adult when she became a political activist and joined the Black Panther movement. She was pregnant with Tupac in 1971 and incarcerated while she and other Panthers faced conspiracy charges that were later dismissed. Shakur was an inspiration for her son’s music and oversaw his music catalog and legacy after his death. She founded the Tupac Amaru Shakur Foundation after her son’s death. Police announced Tuesday morning in a press conference that they do not suspect foul play in her death . A family member and close family friend were present at the time, Chief Deputy Coroner Darrell Harris said. The results of an autopsy this afternoon are pending toxicology test results which will take several weeks, Harris said.
