The newborn baby weighs six pound and seven ounces which is normal, the baby was safely delivered on the plane by a team of three doctors and crew after landing in Yangon, Myanmar. The plane passengers welcomed the baby’s birth with a round of applause.

The mother who went into labor during the three hour journey and the hospital said that the baby is in good health and have been discharged from the hospital. The low cost carrier said they will donate seven hundred forty five dollars for the baby supplies.

Now, the Jet Star’s policy requires a doctor’s letter from pregnant passengers entering their third trimester and they should have a certification that they are in good health. If a woman is 40 weeks pregnant, she will be able to travel but it has to be less than four hours long.
