The OWL at Perdue: On this widely-used website, you will find TONS of great writing resources using the navigation pane on the left. From research and citation (which is very, very important) to simple grammar rules, this website has it and is pretty common-usage among us English people.
Grammar Girl: This is a website I use all the time for a quick grammar tip (and to find proof in a grammar argument when my profession isn’t enough). All the answers to long-time grammar questions — Who vs. Whom, Then vs. Than, Effect vs. Affect, Semicolons vs. Colons, etc. — can be found on this website. Also, it’s pretty entertaining. The author of this blog, Mignon Fogarty, also has a book! Mr. Kascak has that in his room… :)
Easy Bib — Not for babies, for citing all of your hard-found research and evidence for papers. MLA is the easiest to access here, but ALL forms of citations can be found on this website. I recommend it. 10/10.
Write or Die: Procrastinating on that essay? Can’t figure out where to start? This website forces you to write! As soon as you start typing, it gives you a time limit. Once that small time limit goes out, the program will start deleting the words you have written. How’s that for motivation?
This is only a few of the helpful writing links that I had off the top of my head. If you have any more, post them, share them with me, add them, or do whatever makes sense!
