Are you trying to escape from your adulthood?

Consider the way you are sitting, standing, or lying in. What popped-up in your mind before opening the article; by reading the master heading of the article? You thought about a way you can escape from your situation, you are suffering in? But why do you want to escape? Have you ever thought about this?

Failure of Escaping

Do you remember the childhood period where we had some children around us who wanted to escape from their homes because of the mental torture, they suffered from, but definitely failed to escape from the situation? Why? Similarly, you are in your adulthood and wants to escape from it, but fails to escape. Why?

Desperation Leading to Escapism

Think about the time when we were so desperate to become an adult to escape from the childhood and its traumas, but look at us now who gets frown lines whenever situation gets worse and every time we ought to flee from it. The question arises; Why? Why we always want to escape from the age and circumstances, we are in?

May be we are more interested in after and before life.

Childhood vs Adulthood

Imagine your childhood when you were carefree. No matter if you knew the meaning of the life at that time, but at least you were enjoying the life. Playing with our friends with verve and interest that always gave the freshness was the only task.

But what has happened with us today? We know the meaning of the life, but we fail to enjoy it. Why? Because we have indulged ourselves in the race of life that stops us to enjoy the life. We have become tiring adults with full of anxiety and depression. We think more about the society rather than focusing on our dreams; we have become materialistic.

We as an adult has started taking life as something that is totally absurd. We think that we are living the life which is meaningless. But why are we living like that? Why are we living like dead-ones?

We have friends, family, and our loved ones, then why are we taking life for granted as it has no purpose?

Conclusion

Escaping from the situation is something natural and one tries to escape due to the traumas, anxiety, and life challenges. But escaping from the situation is really an option or one should try some other ways?

Looking forward for your thoughts and suggestions.
