Most of the time, life becomes a routine for everyone: they go to work, then spend time in front of a phone or monitor, spend a few minutes with their family, and then go to sleep, and this repeats itself day after day.
The problem is when they realize that time has passed and they haven’t made any progress, which is why in this article I’m going to tell you what the best exercise is that you can do, and which helped me enormously to break out of this routine.
Make three columns in an Excel spreadsheet or on a piece of paper with three different questions
1. What do I do every day?
2. What am I really good at?
3. What brings me concrete progress in my life in terms of visibility or finances?
The biggest shock people get when they do this exercise, and which shocked me too, was that usually everything we write in column 1 has nothing to do with columns 2 and 3. When I did this test, I calculated that only 10–15% of what I did every day helped me progress in my life professionally and financially, and these things were not even related to what I considered myself…
