I started my coding journey just like most people — for the money
It’s an unspoken rule: if you have a skill, you can monetise it. That was exactly why I began learning to code.
But before that, I was preparing for the JEE exams, one of the toughest exams in India. Clearing it means getting into a top institution. When the results came, I got 93 percentile. It sounds good, but with over two million aspirants, only the top 1% secure seats in prestigious institutions.
Unfortunately, I didn’t make the cut and ended up joining a state college instead.
The Turning Point
2020 was a tough year for everyone. While some people lost their jobs, others lost loved ones. I used that year to reflect and build myself. COVID gave me a much-needed break from everything, and that’s when everything started.
