I Quit Training in The Evening. Here's is Why

Considering the fact that my job is from 9 in the morning to 5 in the evening and the drive home is about an hour, I used to train at the gym around 8 in the evening but for a month now I stopped doing this and I will tell you the reasons for this.

First of all, considering the fact that the training lasted about an hour when I got home my pulse rate was very high and it dropped somewhere around 2–3 in the morning and so during this period my sleep was of very poor quality.
In addition I had very big problems to fall asleep in the evening because there was still adrenaline in my body that simply did not allow me to fall asleep.

Secondly, after the gym I felt the need to eat something, and this happened around 10 pm which is very late considering that during the night the metabolism slows down. In addition there was a state of discomfort because I was trying to fall asleep with a full stomach. I noticed that the best option for me is to eat at least 3–4 hours before going to sleep.

Thirdly when I was training in the evening, I was always on the run, especially on days when I had to stay over, then I would rush to make something to eat before going to the gym, then I had to have a minimum of 30 minutes between eating and going to the gym.
