I have been ghosted by familiar souls all throughout my isolated existence. But this time, it’s far from the usual — that someone who listened to my rants, unwrapped my boxes of secrets, used his body to shield me from the scorching sun, and who gently shed my tears when no one dropped by my side got worn out without a gesture of departure.
Maybe my gloomy thoughts were right — that I am a heavy package to carry and an unworthy item to be brought home…
I first heard a consent from you before walking the flame to pursue my cold heart; your soft frame mumbled promises with a public facade that caused me to erase my anguish; you kneeled down above the stone of ecstasy for me to say ‘I love you’ back. And now I couldn’t clean up the dirt hovering on your blurry escape.
You were good in giving me signals on the first page, but you abandoned me like a boring paragraph at the climax…
This is such a nameless season, which shouldn’t be born to any of those who have pure hands to hold someone firmly without any plans of invisibly letting go.
However, I expected that you would prove me wrong. I thought it was your name that was written on my palm, whom will adjust the brightness of my dark prophecy. I’ve always wanted to let out my rage, but I realized that you were once the person who prioritize my happiness.
Your silent steps away from me tell me a lot. I’ll just see you soon with a brand new ‘hello’…
