I am an India-based author. I write from my phone and sometimes from my daughter’s laptop. I managed to get into the MPP in May 2020 even though India was not a supported country by using an America-bought iPhone.

I have made money each month dedicating hardly a few minutes a day on some months and over three hours a day in some months.

The monthly payout is proportional to how many articles one writes and for which publications. I’ll come to that in a moment.
