Although I have seen lately a lot of doctors coming out in public and saying about how harmful sugar is, a lot of people consume it and even in very large quantities.
I was the kind of person who until this year consumed extremely high amounts of sugar and I never thought I would quit.

Besides it is very hard to give up sugar because like any other drug it creates a certain addiction and when you try to quit there are extremely many changes in your body.
In this article I will tell you how I quit sugar and how hard it was in the first days.

Even though it is recommended to reduce a little bit of sugar for me it didn’t work because I managed to reduce it for a week and then I was back to the level I was before so I needed a major change in my daily life.
So for me, giving up sugar was sudden but I think it was the only chance to succeed.

The first 5–6 after I quit sugar completely I felt extremely tired and my motivation to do things was at an all time low.
I can even say that I went through bouts of sadness and nervousness that I simply found hard to manage.
