“That’s right, it happened to me at that time.”

We all know how pain makes us feel — stuck, numb, and unable to move forward. It halts our progress and keeps us from pursuing our purpose.

When I succumb to pain, I feel guilty and disrespectful toward myself, breaking my own trust by not committing to my words and plans, which only adds more pain.

But the most conscious thing to do is to recognize this force for what it is — a negative energy trying to hold us down.

As Yuval Noah Harari explains in Sapiens,

“The battle of Good and Evil: Dualism explains that the entire Universe is a battleground between these two forces, and that everything that happens in the world is a part of the struggle.”

The Universe is always balanced with good and bad energies. We, as part of the Universe, embody this balance. We cannot escape negative energy, it’s through the contrast of bad that we truly appreciate the good.

I remember all the times I waited, walked, embarrassed myself, and cried through difficult periods in my life. Now, I see that those experiences have blessed me with growth.

The Universe has given me this opportunity, and this time, I am determined to use it wisely. I must be intentional in remembering this.

“A lesson is repeated until it is learned.” — Ancient Sanskrit Rule For Being Human.

The Universe is kind enough to remind me again and again of the lessons I need to learn. I should be wise and mindful, taking these lessons to heart.

That’s right, at that time, I almost gave up, but I hung in there. So I decide, once again, to not give up. I will keep moving forward, embracing the struggle, and growing stronger each day.

Thank you, Universe, for the lessons and the strength to keep going.
