Narcissists often hide the shameful things they are guilty of behind a mask of virtue, which they create with many layers of lies so that it is not immediately obvious that they lead a double life.

While exposing this double life can lead to them going nuts and getting very vengeful, highlighting it to the narcissist in a backhanded way really gets under their skin in such a way that they’ll never tell you about it.

I think this is because it gets to them, and they’re such proud creatures that to give you any more attention after that would be to admit that they aren’t invincible, and you really did a number on them.

The way that you’ll get this to work is that you need to know the intricate details of at least one thing the narcissist does that they would be very ashamed of it ever came out in public.

Then you should praise them for whatever it is that they are using to provide them with the credibility to hide the truth.

For example, the narcissist could be a well-loved pillar of your community, who holds an important job at your local church, but what no one…
