The Pen Stand
An inquisitive drive into the Depths of the Human Mind
My Heart’s barren as a pitiful dry land
And My Legs Shiver-They haven’t mustered the courage to Stand
And My Ears devoid of Cheerful Music from any Band
My Hands out of reach to the Pen’s Land.
Sitting Idle, doing almost nothing does ruin my Day
With Memories,Thoughts and Longings withering away
Sweet dreams find the Brain a place too long to Stay
Trying as much as I can to Carve out my Way.
Oh how dearly I wish to go to any Shopping Day
With the Wind whispering in my Ears letting My hair randomly Sway
To witness The First Rainbowish fall in the Water of the First Sunray
And amongst cozy worlds of stories and poems to lay.
Nevertheless,I am confined to my Table and
Savoring delicious dishes from different parts of the Land
Thinking of Etching My Thoughts on the paper that awaits to get in my Hand
And now My Hands freed of the Mind's Shackles reach out to the Pen Stand.
