First, I would like to talk about an extremely important parameter for life expectancy and quality of life, namely VO2max. This refers to the maximum amount of oxygen you can consume during intense exercise.
It reflects the aerobic capacity of the body and depends on the physiological function of the circulatory, respiratory, and exertion systems, but it is also an indicator of longevity.
It can usually be monitored using smart watches or bracelets, and a VO2max value above 50 is directly linked to a longer life, while a low VO2max implies cardiovascular problems.
