A Moment That Changed Everything
Priyanka sat in her parked car, hands gripping the wheel. Groceries were in the trunk. Her toddler finally asleep in the backseat. Her phone buzzed — “Call Mom. Pick up meds. Reply to boss.”
She didn’t move. Her heart was racing. Her body hurt. And her mind was running in circles.
She hadn’t run a marathon, but she felt like she had. Her body was tired. Her emotions, drained. Her brain, overloaded.
That day, Priyanka didn’t get out of the car for nearly an hour.
