The World Needs More Writers
Although every day I see more and more new people starting to write articles on Medium, I can say that I agree with Medium’s slogan of this period when they say that we need more writers.
You can imagine that every single person in this world is very good at something and has a lot of advice to offer in areas where we don’t have even the slightest bit of information.
So if these people would try to put all their ideas into articles it would definitely create a much greater diversity in the content we find on Medium.
In addition a larger number of writers would bring more perspectives even on the same topic which would create engagement and community growth.
From my point of view the most interesting articles are the ones where I find totally different perspectives on topics that I thought were already well established, and what’s even nicer is getting to agree with the person.
It would also greatly increase competition, which is also good for motivating writers and keeping the quality of articles as high as possible.
Finally we will also talk about the revenues which I am sure would be much higher if the number of writers on this platform would increase, and this is because a lot of us writers will start to pay the upgrade. This would bring additional funds and…
