When Healing from Trauma Hurts, Don’t Forget to Love Yourself a Little More
On your healing journey don’t forget to love yourself a little extra on the bad days.
When you’re healing from trauma it can feel like you take 2 steps forward and 3 steps back, you will have bad days, and some of those are real stinkers!
But as long as you keep moving ahead, even if it’s only a little at a time, you’re still going in the right direction.
The important thing is not to give up.
There may be times when you are triggered and set back by an attacking narcissist or gang-stalking enablers who can’t let go, but instead of letting it hold you up, take it as a sign that you’re going in the right direction.
After all, the devil doesn’t waste time with anyone who’s on the wrong path, so you must be doing something right.
A good mind hack which I still use is to alter your perspective when someone’s actions disturb you because it is our perception that disturbs us, not the act itself.
It’s easy to feel overwhelmed and exhausted by the narcissists never never-ending nit picking, but once you heal, they won’t be able to hurt you anymore.
No longer can they leverage your trauma against you, those days are over, and the narcissist is irrelevant now.
