Shocking Mistakes That Sabotage Your Sleep — The Third One Is the Most Surprising!
A lot of people don’t realize how important quality sleep is both for peak performance and for a healthy and trouble-free life, so in this article I will tell you the 3 things I have come to avoid before sleep and the results have been absolutely incredible.
First of all the last meal is at 17 o’clock. I know a lot of people who have their last meal extremely late somewhere around 8pm or even 8pm which is why they have an extremely restless sleep and don’t get the rest they should. Considering that usually during the week my bedtime is around 10 pm, I have 5 hours in which my body has to completely digest all the food and when I go to sleep it is completely devoid of activity.
The second thing I avoid is drinking alcohol and coffee after 14. A lot of people recommend to avoid drinking coffee just after 12 o’clock but since I have lunch at 13 o’clock then the last coffee is at 14 o’clock.
You should also avoid alcohol in the evening because the body stops metabolizing food to deal with alcohol and if this happens in the evening you may start to gain weight.
I can confirm this because I had a period in my life when I was coming home from work and I liked to drink 1–2 glasses of wine…
