What Is Mixed Water?
I don’t mean the phrase chemically. I mean, what does “Mixed water” mean in India?
When it gets this hot, my family likes to drink mixed water.
What in the world is mixed water?
Mixed water is a luxury and a treat.
It is plain drinking water, in a glass, poured from two bottles: one chilled bottle fresh out of the refrigerator, and another bottle which is at room temperature.
Where the room temperature is literally a shade below 106°F. So that bottle is hot.
Why is mixed water a luxury and a treat?
Mixed water isn’t something I’d do for myself. For myself, I would rather drink the water from the hot, room temperature bottle — or I would take the icy fridge water into my mouth and warm it up before swallowing it.
However, if my darling Sivakami (my daughter, age 15) asks for mixed water while she is studying, you bet she will get it.
