It is a very little theory but at the restart of apple in 1997 when Steve Jobs came back in Apple, jonny Ive the designer of many apple products (He left Apple many years ago). His design cost many to Apple but made a lot of sales; I think about the iMac G3. So apple had very high quality products and sold them very expensive. My theory starts here, Apple keeps his high quality products, so he sold them very expensive and it was his brand image. Sell products that look luxurious but aren’t luxury, why ? Because they don’t have the main characteristic of luxury.

The definition of luxury :

  • A good feeling ? Check
  • Expensive ? Check
  • A good quality ? Check
  • Rarity ? No

Apple is just as locked into its luxury brand image as we are into its ecosystems. But it’s good for us because he has an amazing SAV, beautiful store, good design, good products etc…

Thank you for reading 🤗
