Nowadays there are a lot of people who have weight problems and do everything possible to lose weight. Summer is the season when no matter who you talk to you hear that they want to lose a few pounds, but unfortunately many make mistakes and end up giving up.

First of all they want to lose weight very quickly. So right from the start they set a target that is completely unrealistic and so after a few weeks they end up giving up because they see that they are not even close to the target they set.
In my opinion a weight loss of 0.5 kg/week is already more than enough. So you should not expect to lose more than 2kg every month.
Remember that weight loss is a marathon not a sprint.

Secondly try all sorts of extremely strict diets suddenly lowering the number of calories you consume. Even if this works for the first 2 weeks when you can lose a few kilos then your metabolism will slow down which will make your body adapt to this reduced food intake.
Since you won’t be able to cut down even more you will start gaining weight again.

Thirdly, and perhaps most importantly, people who want to lose weight try to do so only by reducing their food intake, but do not take into account that for effective weight loss you need to do a lot of sport. Whether it’s running on the treadmill at the gym, running in the park or even my personal favourite brisk walking through the park it will help you burn calories and lose weight. Plus you won’t have to drastically cut down on the amount you eat and you won’t gain weight quickly afterwards when you’ve finished the weight loss process.
