The BRIT award-winning producer solidifies himself as one of dance music’s most exciting acts with this mesmerizing debut!

While you may not have heard of Fred again.., you’ve definitely heard his songs.

In recent years the UK producer has been the driving force behind some of the world’s biggest hits, with writing credits on the likes of George Ezra’s Shotgun, Ed Sheeran’s Perfect and Stormzy’s Own It . In 2020 he scooped up the Brit award for producer of the year and it’s not hard to see why, in 2019 he spent 15 weeks (just shy of 30%) of the year at number one in the UK charts.

While Fred again..’s had enormous success behind the scenes of pop, his approach to his solo music takes a more eclectic approach. Fred again..’s highly-anticipated debut album titled Actual Life (April 14 – December 17 2020) is an audio diary of sorts, transforming snippets of real life conversations into electrifying dance tracks.

Actual Life offers a glimpse into how Fred sees – or rather, how he hears – the world, and the people who bring it to life around him. He doesn’t write about experiences; he takes experiences and turns them into songs.

He’s wildly gregarious, laughs a lot, optimistic to the last. This all transfers. Over the past five years, he’s brought this inescapable charisma to his work with everyone from FKA twigs to Stefflon Don, BTS, Jayda G, Romy and Burna Boy. It helped draw UK drill rapper Headie One out of his comfort zone, on the pair’s collaborative mixtape GANG, to dazzling effect.

Now Fred again..’s debut full-length is here. The album is set to build on the success of Fred’s current crossover anthem Marea (We’ve Lost Dancing) which features the voice of Marea Stamper aka The Blessed Madonna on record for the first time.
