mStable Community Summary Q1 2022
Road to V2, FridaySpaceTalk, mStable Sessions and more
In case you missed it, there has been a lot of activity on the community side in recent months. From our Road to V2 community calls on Discord to #FridaySpaceTalk on Twitter Spaces, the Metanauts fam has been pumping on multiple cylinders to spread what we have been up to.
Road to V2 Community Calls
While the core team remains extremely focused on building mStable V2 with a stronger focus on yield strategies, the Road to V2 community calls are a way for the community to have regular informal meetings with our core team members to chat and discuss about what V2 looks like, as well as to incorporate feedback from the community.
We have seen tremendous interest in these calls, especially whenever we give out POAPs for attendance.
Friday Space Talk with DeFi Safety, Vesper, Gro and more
We are also increasing our activity on Twitter, hosting a brand new segment called #FridaySpaceTalk on Twitter Spaces where we invite some of our partners, community members and other members of DeFi to the stage with us to chat about a wide range of topics from yield farming to transparency in DeFi.
Co-hosted by our Product Manager Dimsome and Head of Growth Theo, #FridaySpaceTalk is an opportunity for mStable to be right in the middle of Crypto Twitter with other protocols building alongside us.
#FridaySpaceTalk has been successful in many ways — our conversations helped to strengthen our relationships with protocols in DeFi and not only do they help build awareness of mStable, we have started using them as a content pipeline on our YouTube channel.
mStable Sessions on Spotify and AnchorFM
Missed out on some of the above activities? That’s not an issue as some of our most engaged community members and mods like okilo, Fungus and PickACrypto have also started uploading content on a new podcast channel mStable Sessions on both Spotify and Anchor FM.
You can now listen in to our community call and Twitter Spaces recordings on your own schedule, in your car or train commute home!
Partnering with Polygon for grants
We are also partnering with the Polygon team for grants as part of the Polygon Village initiative — a full stack ecosystem for developers to build and grow on Polygon.
mStable will co-sponsor projects building on mStable on Polygon with the Polygon team. A number of projects have already started on this initiative, including Overnight Finance and 2pi.
