Today it’s clear that scientific approaches haven’t worked in preventing viruses. Nor has prayer, swallowing tide pods, social distancing, face masks, or conspiracies. What has yet to be tried is bringing law enforcement and the weight of our entire legal system to bear on the microscopic world of criminals. Building on decades of experience at catching criminals in the underworld, we should fund new efforts to apprehend viruses…
