Muhammad Ali and Elvis

The Elvis Presley and Muhammad Ali photo is an interesting one. I never knew that they were friends. You can learn a lot from old photos and the people that share them. I knew Muhammad Ali was a great fighter and remember seeing him box. That’s just about all I remember. There is old news that is new news to me about Mr. Ali.

It was during the time Mr. Ali was getting ready to fight Joe Bugner that he received the robe from Elvis. It is said that Mr. Ali thanked Elvis for the robe, but he did not wear the robe for the fight. It is said that he wore the robe in 1974 entering the ring to fight Ken Norton. When Mr. Ali lost the fight, he considered it bad luck and maybe it was. He did not need the robe for luck anyway. Mr. Ali was and still is the greatest of all time.
