Leveling Up Your Learning with µlearn
The µlearn discord server has recently introduced a new feature called Discord Levels. This feature is designed to motivate students and encourage them to take on new tasks.
Discord Levels work by categorizing members based on their levels. This ensures that each individual can access content and engage in discussions that align with their expertise and interests.
This also sparks a sense of healthy competition and motivation among users. As members progress through the levels by completing tasks, they feel a sense of achievement and advancement.
This gamified system motivates active participation and fosters a supportive community where members can cheer each other on and celebrate their collective progress. By organizing channels based on levels, Discord Levels make it easier for participants to find relevant discussions that make it an enriching experience for all.
How do Discord levels work?
Don’t you want to know how you can climb up that leaderboard and challenge everyone including yourself? Well for that, first of all, you’ve got to clear your onboarding process and we have support channels to help you assist with them.
After completing the onboarding process, you start at Level 1. Here, you must complete beginner-level tasks such as self-introduction, introduction to Discord, and introduction to µlearn which rewards you with 120 karma points.
Are you up for some action? Level 2 is where you have to complete tasks such as keyboard mastery and YIP, earning yourself a total of 1200 karma points and adding it to your tally! But wait, there’s more!!
We’re done with training! Time for some real challenges at Level 3 where you have to complete the introductory tasks to technology such as Github, Markdown, Command Line, Github Pages, and HTML which would award you 900 karma points helping you to climb the leaderboard in no time!!!
The final level (Level 4) grants access to interest groups and all other available channels. Now you can interact and connect with individuals in your field of interest and forge strong connections!!

What are Karma Points?
µlearn uses karma points to recognize and appreciate member contributions. Karma points are awarded for actively contributing and achieving milestones. These points serve as a form of recognition and act as a catalyst, inspiring members to strive for excellence and participate in meaningful interactions continuously.
