KGI: iPhone SE to come in at $400, iPhone 5S at $250

The price is really the only surprising point here. KGI also claims the rumored 16 and 64GB capacities, color options, and specs we first heard from 9to5mac. Currently, iPhone 5S comes in at $450, so starting at $400 is a major deal, especially when noting the fact that as of a year ago, when contracts were still a thing in the US, this really wouldn’t have made much of a difference. Now that customers are directly paying for their phones, this really changes things.

More surprising is the fact that KGI claims iPhone 5S will stick around at an astonishingly low $225-$250 price point — I’m almost certain this is incorrect. This new phone is meant to replace the 5S in the lineup, and get the ‘5’ out of the picture.

Lastly, if Apple truly sells an A9 device at $400, expect that new iPad Pro that everyone is worried about being more expensive to start at the standard $500.
