I’ve made a name for myself in the cannabis space on pushing for increased transparency and honesty within all facets of the Green Rush. I’ve not so secretly thought that blockchain, DLT, and Cryptocurrencies were a way to tackle so many issues facing the industry at large while ensuring those very things are front an center. So, for me, coming on board with the Multichain Ventures family is a first step to ensuring we can bring cannabis into the 21st century while keeping the highest levels of ethics and morals in tact. Cannabis NFT Marketplace
The very first project on the docket for this newly expanded MCV team is their biggest, baddest, and most exciting move yet: An NFT Marketplace for cannabis artists, influencers, and more to be able to join in on the latest craze. This marketplace is still a few weeks away, but the foundation is set and Multichain Ventures is officially beginning the process of onboarding artists and creatives to begin filling up the limited slots available for the launch of sales coming by summer.
Tokes to Binance Smart Chain
With the emergence of more blockchains and altcoins, and as part of their move to meet the growing needs of this soon to launch marketplace comes the need to switch it up a little bit. That’s why Multichain Ventures is pleased to announce they are officially moving to support Binance Smart Chain. Binance Smart Chain (BSC) can achieve rapid block times due to its Proof-of-Stake consensus algorithm, which utilizes an innovative process known as Proof of Staked Authority (PoSA), enabling participants to stake Binance Coin (BNB) to become validators. With the switch will come a smoother, faster validation of transactions across the Tokes Platform with a continuation of the smart contract and other crucial elements to increasing the usability and viability of Tokes. Additionally, Multichain Ventures will be allocating assets as rewards to a variety of liquidity pools to incentive greater market availability across the DeFi AMM and DEX ecosystem.
Tokes and PotCoin
Those keeping up with all the happenings in the Multichain Ventures universe will remember our partnership with Potcoin that was announced a few months ago. Those who don’t can check out the details here. It’s now officially going stronger than ever. This partnership is designed to enhance PotCoin’s technology ecosystem by leveraging Tokes Platform infrastructure, while utilizing the PotCoin brand to enhance exposure and secure placements for both parties. This relationship positions PotCoin to become a key strategic channel partner for the cannabis industry, providing merchants with point-of-sale processing software, eCommerce storefronts, mobile applications, and supply chain visibility tools, originally developed at Multichain Ventures.
Nevada Closed Loop Financial Blockchain System AB466
This partnership is most easily seen and experienced under the first of its kind legislation known as Assembly Bill 466 (AB 466) which calls for a closed loop tokenized financial ecosystem for the Nevada Cannabis industry. As of now, Nevada has officially begun the process of kicking off the pilot program that will continue to blossom into what is sure to be an astounding proof of concept for future implementation in other markets.
