A Day To Remember

The Islamic revolution of Iran marks as the first revolution that ends with an Islamic state. The 78-year-old man, Ayatollah Khomeini had a big role in this revolution though he was exiled for more than 14 years by an order from the Shah. This revolution was successful because several groups from different regions in Iran involving the urban poor, people who suffered from poverty, white-collar professionals, working class people, religious figures, youths, adults, ulama, professors and students whom stood in one hand against the Shah. Iraji Elahi, an Iranian citizen narrates his experience during the revolution through an interview with him and informs us about the one day he can not forget.
