Munich Restaurant Notes

People value this “less busy, less overpriced hidden gem of Bavarian cuisine” in the old Schwabing part of Munich. The kitchen relies on fresh ingredients and “á la minute preparation” that has become “so rear for Bavarian gastronomy in the city”. Due to the “divine Wiener Schnitzel and Kaiserschmarrn” the rustically tasteful dining room can sometimes fill up — on warm days the “beautifully tree-covered terrace” is even “overflowing with guests” who quench their “Bavarian thirsts for ice cold Augustiner beer”. It’s on these occasions when the otherwise “eloquent, efficient, down-to-earth and super-friendly” service gets overwhelmed by the sheer amount of “steins and schnitzels” they have to carry to the tables.
