Limoni

The excellent food at Limoni needed “a bunch of years to get there, but now that it got there, it’s an absolute joy”. It’s an upmarket Italian in Maxvorstadt, “where you’d take a date, as well as an important client”. Chances are that the guests sitting next to you are doing one of the other, while “sampling food from the daily menu, or indulging in the Limoni classics that involve preparation in a salt crust” — “The fish is devine” as is the good vine list, that offers some really fine (and pricey) Italian reds by the glass.
