Welcome to our monthly recap of the latest updates in the world of Muon. Headlined by the introduction of our Random Rotating Subnets, let’s dive into the highlights — including updates from our developers, node operator rewards & more!

Enhancing the Security & Scalability of Muon

We’ve been working hard to improve our node network and make it more cost-effective and scalable (without compromising its security). We recently introduced a new feature called Random Subnet Selection to help achieve just this. This feature assigns nodes to different subnets at random intervals, making it harder for malicious actors to attack our network.

Further App Testing on ALICE

Additionally, we’ve been deploying more apps on our ALICE Testnet to ensure we’re fully prepared for the Pioneer network launch. The more apps that can be tested on ALICE means a higher scope of the Muon protocol and its capabilities can be tested before introducing funds in the canary network.

Bonus Rewards for ALICE Operators

With the principal period for ALICE node rewards ending, and a crucial period of testing still ahead of us, we were pleased to offer additional rewards for existing ALICE node operators to remain active until our Pioneer Launch! For people yet to begin running a node (or those with insufficient uptime) this also presents an additional opportunity to collect more rewards as well!

Stay tuned for more updates on the Pioneer Launch as we get closer!

News from Our Partners

Partnering up with Chronos

We’re thrilled to have announced our partnership with Chronos, a community-driven liquidity layer and Automated Market Maker (AMM) on Arbitrum. Chronos celebrated their launch by flying up the TVL rankings on Arbitrum, already in the top 3 with nearly $250M locked in just two weeks since launch!

We look forward to growing our technical relationship with Chronos as they continue their exciting rise! Check out their site here.

Thena FUSION System is Live!

Our friends at THENA recently launched their V2 system, a major platform upgrade featuring enhanced gauges and the integration of FUSION concentrated liquidity pools. This upgrade means liquidity being provided is in a tighter range, increasing its utilization & making THENA more competitive in terms of price execution for traders.

Ultimately, this means less emissions are spent per pool, allowing more pools to be opened that then drive revenue through trading fees!

Muon is an innovative decentralized oracle network (DON) that enables dApps to make their off-chain components decentralized, thereby significantly broadening their operational scope. By incorporating Muon, the manner in which decentralized applications store, process, and access data will be fundamentally transformed, redefining the landscape of decentralized systems.
