a quick synopsis and video walkthrough

What is AR?

What Google says: Augmented reality is an interactive experience of a real-world environment where the objects that reside in the real-world are enhanced by computer-generated perceptual information, sometimes across multiple sensory modalities, including visual, auditory, haptic, somatosensory and olfactory.

Vanilla terms: Putting images/videos/3-D objects over real life things

AR is pretty commonplace — from Pokemon GO games to your favorite Snapchat filters.

You’ll need two platforms -Unity and Vuforia- to get started with an AR app.

What is Unity?

Unity is the most popular game engine, used to create Pokemon Go, Heathstone, Rimworld, and many more. It’s also extremely capable to build 3D or 2D animation- making it an ideal platform for an AR application.
