38-year old Steven Weber was a DJ In Baton Rouge, Louisianna when he was introduced to 38-year old lawyer, Kenesha Antoine by a mutual friend.
The two immediately fell in love when they met in 2017, and before long they were traveling the world together, ticking adventures off their bucket lists.
For Kenesha’s 40th birthday, the two wanted to do something really special. They were traveling in Tanzania, and to end their trip, booked a one-night stay at a popular resort on Pemba Island.
This room cost over $1800 just for the night, and looked to be the ultimate luxury getaway.
The accommodation was a two-story cabin situated in the Indian Ocean, three hundred meters from the coast. The first floor was above sea level, with beautiful views of the sea and the stars at night.
A room on the first floor contained a ladder, that went ten meters below sea level to reveal the master bedroom. This room was completely submerged underwater, with four huge windows to look out into the ocean scenery.
The couple checked into the secluded cabin on Thursday, September 19th, 2019.
